The Scriptures never tells us that Jesus was jealous over anyone or anything. However, the Bible does tell us multiple times, God is a jealous God. How does His jealousy for us apply not only to the position of Christ as our Rabbi, but how we live as a disciple of our Lord. We answer these questions in part two of our series, Jesus as Rabbi.
Jesus called His disciples to follow Him because He believed they could be like Him. The same is true for us. Jesus calls us because He believes we can be like Him. But, what is required? We begin part 1 of our study by understand Jesus as our Rabbi, and what this meant not only for His twelve original disciples, but how this applies to us in 12st century Christianity.
